Discovering Skins at Run Time: Configuring the Skin Family

Notes:

Discovering Skins at Run Time: Configuring the Skin Family

The bean dynamically discovers the skin family that is configured in the trinidad-skins.xml file, plus the Oracle default skins such as blafplus-rich and simple. To show only custom skins, you can remove the default skins from the choice list. The bean also sets the skin family name for the application. You can reference this value from a select list or call it from a managed bean. Finally, the bean shows the current skin family name as a default value to be displayed in a select one list. If the family name is not found, the default is set to the session skin.
