Summary of Key Elements
This diagram shows all the key components in the JSF Architecture discussed earlier. In everyday operation, the programmer is concerned only with the red boxes. These are the primary areas where code can be entered. Everything in the blue boxes is generally handled by the framework, although (as in all the aspects of JSF) it can be extended or customized.
The view here is the page definition itself and the model represents the back-end integration usually handled by Managed Beans.
